Economy rice stall at Marsiling Mall Hawker Centre offering diverse vegetable and protein selections over rice.
Eastern Mixed Vegetable Rice Stall is a cai png (economy rice) stall at Marsiling Mall Hawker Centre, serving the quintessential Singaporean dining style where customers pick from an array of prepared dishes displayed behind a glass counter. The stall offers a wide selection of braised vegetables, steamed fish, roasted meats, tofu preparations, and other homestyle dishes, all served over steamed rice. This self-service format allows diners to build a personalised meal according to their preferences and budget, making it a practical option for anyone seeking a straightforward, no-frills lunch or dinner. Alongside its mixed rice offerings, the stall also serves nasi lemak with fried chicken, expanding its appeal beyond the standard cai png crowd. Takeaway is available for those who prefer to eat at home or at the office. The stall caters primarily to the hawker centre's regular clientele β working professionals, elderly residents, and families looking for an affordable meal β though diners should note that portion pricing can vary depending on selections, so it is advisable to clarify costs before ordering. For a classic Singaporean economy rice experience in Marsiling, Eastern Mixed Vegetable Rice Stall offers the convenience and variety that make cai png such an enduring favourite. It is a straightforward, everyday kind of place β the sort of stall that keeps the neighbourhood fed and the hawker tradition alive.

Had lunch yesterday and had a very bad experience! Fish and 2 veg and rice is $10!!!!!! This stall only knows to cut throat their customers. Today I went to the other stall #01-54 bought the same thing and it cost $5.50. Please learn from the other stall.
Price wise is reasonable, but pork belly fried was quite tough, rice portion is rather small ! But always a long line of office workers! Chai Pung Vege Meat is a favourite with the elderly as they can choose large or small portions according to their budgets... I will try Lian Xiang Rice Vegetables stall next for comparison (opposite Lian Xiang S S Fried Kway Teow. As they have a long line too !!!

I got 2 meat on my curry rice for 3.90 sgd Which is slightly pricey.
To be honest, the ikan bills and peanuts and curry gravy over the rice is decent good
The chicken cultlet was fried until too dry and too crispy. The worse part, the chicken was not fresh at all. I only took a mouthful of the chicken cultlet and I could not eat it anymore.
