Hand-rolled popiah bursting with fresh fillings and homemade sauces at Yishun Mall.

Ann Chin Popiah brings the cherished tradition of hand-rolled Hokkien popiah to Yishun Mall, carrying forward a legacy that dates back to 1950s Singapore. Each popiah is made to order with paper-thin skin stretched and rolled by hand, encasing a vibrant filling of julienned turnip, carrot, bean sprouts, lettuce, and crispy bits, finished with sweet bean sauce and chilli for a satisfying interplay of textures and flavours. The stall is a draw for anyone who appreciates the delicate craft of old-school popiah, where every wrap is assembled fresh and customisable to preference. Whether you are a longtime fan or a curious first-timer, Ann Chin at Yishun Mall delivers a bite of heritage worth queuing for.

Lousy customer service. Asked for less sugar she looks unhappy, like owing her money. Popiah just average and its not cheap. Too sweet. Will not return.

Michelin Star Popiah in Heartland, priced at $2 each (as at Sep 2023). Popiah portion wrapped is quite big for this price and the crispy bits in it blends well the turnips and other ingredients. Give it a try.
