Chinese cooked food stall at Marsiling Mall, serving braised dishes, herbal soups, and ready-to-heat home-style meals.
Ann's Choice is a Chinese cooked food stall at Marsiling Mall Hawker Centre, #01-25, offering a range of braised dishes, herbal soups, and ready-to-heat home-style meals that cater to families and individuals seeking the comfort of home-cooked Chinese food without the preparation time. The stall's menu includes braised pig trotter (卤猪脚), sesame oil chicken (麻油鸡), curry pork rib (咖喱排骨), pig stomach soup (猪肚汤), bak kut teh (肉骨茶), ginseng chicken (人参鸡汤), and ten wonder herbal duck (十全大补鸭) — a lineup that reads like a Chinese family dinner table. The stall also sells Hougang otah and other side items. Reviewers note that the otah is "mediocre, nothing to shout about," but the draw of Ann's Choice lies in its braised and herbal offerings — dishes that require hours of preparation and are impractical for many households to cook for one or two people. The stall effectively provides the Chinese equivalent of a deli or takeaway roast meat shop, where customers can pick up individual portions or larger containers for family meals. Operating 24 hours according to its listing, Ann's Choice serves the round-the-clock needs of the Marsiling community. For hearty Chinese braised dishes and herbal soups without the hours of cooking, Ann's Choice at Marsiling Mall does the heavy lifting. It is home-style comfort, ready to take away.

Pig's stomach soup is so watered down that it is such a shame. Did not even finish it.
Curry pork ribs were of average quality and the curry lacked flavor and intensity. It was also excessively thickened with flour.
Pig's trotter was tender but was a letdown with its lacklustre sauce.
The saving grace was Hougang otah which was flavorful. Then again, its an outsourced.
Overall, its a stall I would avoid since the food is disappointing and the hawker being very pushy.

Very good pig trotter! Pair with their Chili, heavenly. It is much better than the famous one next door. Add their chicken leg and taupo to complete a awesome meal. They recently started to sell otak well priced at 2 big piece for $3.

The duck herbal soup is so flavorful.
In the soup you can find lots of chinese herbs. 山药,党参 you will see them inside.
This is an easy recommendation from me.

Ordered the sesame oil chicken, pig stomach soup, yam rice and otah. A little surprised at some of the poor reviews as I personally felt that every dish was good.
Sesame oil chicken might be a tad oily for some (it's sesame oil after all), but I really enjoyed the fragrance! Pig stomach soup was rich w a strong peppery flavour and they even added wolfberry! Their yam rice was honestly one of the best I have had! The otah was delicious too. What struck me was also the stallowners' enthusiasm in their business, and interest in serving their customers. Would definitely order from them again if I'm nearby!

While I was there on purpose to try out Joy Pan Authentic Yam Abacus just diagonally across and happened to see the Hougang otah at Ann's Choice and bought 2 to try and it tasted mediocre, nothing to shout about. I will try their other dishes like braised pig trotter (卤猪脚), sesame oil chicken (麻油鸡🐔), curry pork rib (咖喱排骨), pig stomach soup (猪肚汤), bak kut teh (肉骨茶), ginseng chicken (人参鸡汤🐔) or ten wonder herbal duck (十全大铺鸭) if I happen to be in the vicinity to give them a fair review soon. 💪💪💪
