very poor this zhi char store very bad impression. last time eat here and today encounter when I and my friend sat here then, this zhi char place their utesnils and menu which state 8pm reserved and we didnt mind it as it was still around 6pm. when around 6.30 they confront us to leave as their customer is here. we had a quarrel with them as they didnt ask nicely and the lady speak with a gangster expression. the cleaner got involve which I don't know when she came to ask us talk peacefully and she said since if we are still eating why not ask the customer to join us. and the stall staff got angry. we left after I waiting for my takeaway and will never return again. This is the silly rules I heard in zhi char stall, this is coffeeshop not your restuarant.

Addictive fish soup stall, ate there sooooo many times. Generous amount of fish slices, both the clear soup and tomyam soup flavours were delicious. Price went up a couple of months back. Ordered online for the first time, $8 for clear fish soup with rice & $10 for tomyam fish soup with mee sua.

A 24 hrs kopitiam opposite Sheng Siong in Khatib area. There are many stores selling nice local food here. It is bright and spacious.

I ordered a double fish soup for $7. The portions of fried and sliced fish are reasonable. Taste wise is not bad. Interestingly, slices of sichuan vegetable are added into the soup. The sliced chilli 🌶 is too OP. I also ordered a cup of coffee for $1.30. I think the price has increased. Overall, this coffee shop has a wide variety of food packed into it. That leaves not much space for tables and chairs. Furthermore, there’s a safe distancing measure to follow.
