Halal-certified bakery reviving traditional Chinese dough snacks with an innovative twist.
Dough Culture is a halal-certified bakery that was founded to revive the traditional Chinese art of dough-making, a trade that was fading into obscurity. Inspired by the dedication of elderly women who manually kneaded, rolled, and fried dough at hawker stalls, founder Alex Ong set out to automate and modernise the process while preserving its soul. The result is a menu of classic Chinese dough snacks prepared with care and consistency, with the signature Salted Bun seasoned with traditional five-spice powder standing out as a must-try. The menu includes sweet and savoury buns, traditional pastries, and local snacks that appeal to a wide audience. The Admiralty Place outlet opens as early as 5 AM, making it one of the earliest breakfast options in the area, and offers both dine-in and takeaway. It suits early risers, families, and anyone looking for familiar, comforting flavours made accessible to all. Dough Culture at Admiralty Place proves that tradition and innovation can coexist beautifully. Come for the nostalgia, stay for the perfectly golden bites.Operating Hours
