Fei Siong egg waffle kiosk at Northpoint City, serving crispy gai daan zai with creative flavours.
Hong Kong Egglet at Northpoint City is a kiosk under the Fei Siong Group, specialising in freshly made gai daan zai — the iconic Hong Kong egg waffle with a crispy exterior and fluffy, eggy interior. Using a traditional secret recipe obtained from a well-established egglet vendor in Hong Kong, the brand stays true to the nostalgic taste while pushing the boundaries with creative flavour variations. The Original egglet, with its signature "bubble" texture and toasty flavour, remains the best-seller, but the menu also features unique options such as Pizza, Chicken Floss, and Spicy Shrimp, alongside sweet favourites like Chocolate, Pandan, and Strawberry. Beyond egglets, the kiosk offers croffles (croissant-waffle hybrids) in flavours like Kaya, Butter, and Blueberry, Mao Shan Wang durian waffles, and bubble milk tea. Located at #B1-18 and open from 11.45am to 9pm daily, it is a grab-and-go treat perfect for shoppers. It suits anyone with a sweet tooth, fans of Hong Kong street snacks, and those looking for a fun, shareable dessert. Crispy, fluffy, and endlessly creative — Hong Kong Egglet brings the streets of Mong Kok to Northpoint City. Pick up a fresh egglet and taste the tradition.Operating Hours

Got 2 original egglets for snack on a weekend evening before returning home. The stall was manned by a young lady & an older auntie. Both of the servers displaying a "left much to be desired" kind of attitude, simply lazy, crude & rude. All egglets which were all ready-made were lined-up to be sold to customers, without having to wait for its preparation. 1 of which I ate at Northpoint with a cup of milk tea & to my greatest disappointment, the egglet despite being warm was stonehard. The remaining egglet which I brought home for supper an hour later had cooled down & become rubbery. The only explanation I could possibly conceived for both texture of the egglets was that;- the egglets had been prepared long, long before only to be warmed up again before selling. Hence the flour texture of the egglet became hard when warmed-up & rubbery when cooled down. Only hope these F&B operators & their staff show some decent work & sales ethics. No one pays money to eat stonehard & rubbery egglet. Does the business-operator who runs a so-called HK egglet business even know what HK egglet taste like or at least what simple thin pancakes dough should taste like;- crispy when warm & at least soft when it has cooled down. [Any bread & bakery store in a HDB shophouse selling freshly-made pancake at half the price beat them anytime hands down!] Definitely not hard & rubbery!!! Disgusting & Disgusted to the Max!!! 👎👎👎👎👎

Today I went to the store and stood in line to make a purchase. The person in front of me was told they needed to wait 5-10 minutes. I was also spending my time in line to make a purchase, but because I was using a coupon, I was told I would need to wait an hour. I feel this is very unfair. Moreover, the coupon did not specify that it couldn't be used on weekends. Yet, the customer in front of me only needed to wait 5-10 minutes, while I had to wait an hour because of using a coupon. I don't understand this kind of service. The store employee even said if you can't wait, don't come on weekends.

Egglet waffles nice n fresh highly recommended, just not from northpoint outlet. The older auntie was extremely rude. Before I had a chance to tell her my order she jusr shouted "WHAT" at me. Not sure why the company hires such rude staff that brings down their image. Will not come back to this outlet again.

Had a very terrible experience with the cashier at this outlet.I bought a sugarcane that day and she rudely point to me the size there so I said is ok I look fr the front she not happy I don't follow her and she yelled at me saying "Here"! Hey is that the way to speak to customers so rude...? Worst I was taking photo of the food and the sensitive staff told me I can't take a pic of her and she will sue me...I can't believe she judge me wrongly and was so rude and mean...I told her incharge this is bad behaviour and luckily they understand...pls kindly restrict such staff attitude is so scary...
