Hua Li Fried Carrot Cake is a legendary hawker stall that has earned a place on multiple "best of Singapore" lists for its exceptional chai tow kway. The stall serves both black (sweet dark soy sauce) and white (savoury garlic) versions, each boasting a pronounced wok hei and perfectly crisp edges. The soft, pillowy radish cake cubes are fried to order with egg, preserved radish, and spring onions for a deeply satisfying plate. Now operating from Marsiling Mall Hawker Centre, Hua Li continues to draw queues of loyal fans and curious first-timers. The stall is known for selling out early, so arriving before peak hours is advised. The no-frills hawker setting keeps prices low and the focus firmly on the quality of each plate served. Head to Hua Li Fried Carrot Cake for what many consider one of the finest examples of this Singaporean classic. It is a must-visit for hawker food enthusiasts and anyone who appreciates the art of wok-fried comfort food.

Bought their white carrot cake for $3.80. Their sign board wrote top 10 biggest carrot cake in Singapore. The carrot cake is the big chunk variety but then it is really not the largest but I guess with most of the carrot cake being small chunk it is not difficult to be in the top 10. The only good thing I feel is a chili. Crispiness was way below par. While the texture has an unpleasant greasiness to the soggy carrot cake. Taste wise was still okay on the saltier side with occasion pieces with nice char taste.

Only 7 pcs of oyster in medium plate. Taste wasn't good either. Dissapointed as some reviews were good.

No option to give 3.5 stars. Had the white carrot cake. Sides were a little crispy (小爽)and it has wok hey taste. Portion can be bigger. Overall not bad. Read reviews the black carrot cake is good, can try that next time!

A well executed plate of carrot cake. Kway was soft. Touch of caramelization though lacking in preserved radish which would have added another dimension.
