As usual. Crowded. But fret not. There’s plenty of tables n seats. I like the fried chicken wings. Especially when it’s hot. Overall quite nice for an economical fried bee hoon n noodles for breakfast. …

Ordered white bee goon with chicken wing and vegetable. Amount was $5.50 I merely asked how it added to $5.50. Stall auntie replied chicken wing $2, white bee hoon $2. I was surprised white bee hoon itself is $2 without any other ingredients. Then she said expensive don’t eat. If not happy then don’t work. If not happy then close the stall don’t sell. Don’t customers have the right to just ask on the amount charged. Or customers only can order and pay and let you all anyhow calculate. With such attitude will loose all customers

Bee Hoon is dry, rubbery and tasteless. Chicken wing lack marination and is tasteless. One plate of beehoon with 2 chicken wings, cabbage, egg and fried tau key costs $8. Overpriced for the small portion and quality…whatever has happened to this stall?? The standards and service have dropped drastically from its hey days! Avoid at all costs!

Grew up eating their Nasi Lemak set 1 since I was 10 when it was $1.90 per set. Now its $3.50. Price went up, hoping their standards didn't so I decided to visit it. Hmmm.. Lost that childhood taste but still a decent plate of nasi lemak.

I must have been having a spate of bad luck recently on my gastronomical conquers when all of the good’ol places which I frequent just do not live up to my usual expectations. I enjoy a plate of Bee Hoon almost every weekend for breakfast and my partner and I go to Hup Lee on Sundays typically at times. Hup Lee this morning was surprisingly exceptionally disappointing with its soggy fried chicken wing and the tasteless cabbage. I thought you could never do beehoon wrong but hey there’s always a first. I still believe in this joint very much hence the 3 stars. If you want variety as well, this is the place to go and it’s great that they’re opened all day. The beehoon places near my neighbourhood is normally sold out by lunch time so it sucks if I happened to be sleeping in that day.
