An affordable sushi stall at Junction Nine where every item on the menu costs just S+, including uni and lobster options.

iSUSHI at Junction Nine is a game-changer for sushi lovers in Yishun, offering an extensive menu where nearly every item, including the drinks, costs just S+. The most talked-about offering is the Uni Ikura Gunkan, featuring both sea urchin and salmon roe at a price point typically reserved for chain conveyor belt restaurants. Other standout S items include the Salmon Lobster Hana, topped with shreds of lobster and bound by salmon and mayonnaise, as well as seared Salmon Aburi and Ebi Tempura Sushi, making this stall one of the best-value sushi destinations in the north. The menu extends to mini don bowls and noodle dishes, also at S+, with options like the Lobster Ikura Don combining sweet lobster with umami-rich ikura. While the quality is in line with chain sushi restaurants rather than premium omakase, the value proposition is undeniably compelling. The stall operates from 11am to 9:30pm daily with both dine-in and takeaway available. iSUSHI suits budget-conscious sushi fans, students, and anyone wanting a Japanese fix without the premium price tag. For sushi that defies the price tag, iSUSHI at Junction Nine is the north's best-kept affordable secret. It is proof that S can still go a remarkably long way.

We heard there was a $2/dish menu and we got attracted. The location is fairly easy to find, the restaurant is clean and spacious. The service crew is very considerate in terms of service and how they serve the plates (I appreciate this a lot) but there was little friendly smiles 😅 The food itself is very good, hot food is really served hot, the sashimi is fresh, cold appetizers has standards. The sushi rice is nice, everything is decently portioned, there's even natto ❤️ I like the chawanmushi, it has crab sticks, chicken, mushroom and even tobiko in it, it's clear they serve quality over price. It would be nice if there's some set menus, or more variety, said my partner. But personally, if they maintain quality for this small menu, it's ok. But some people may get bored overtime.

chawanmushi is really nice but menu wrong spelling. everything is $2, salmon sashimi is ok. the sushi rice is not the best, and really brings the standard of the sushi down cuz the toppings are pretty yummy. spicy salmon is really good. yakitori tastes like satay, still nice. overall, it’s just meh for taste. price is ok.

Very fast service. The food is good. I like the atmosphere. They gave free complimentary wet wipes and at the counter there were free stickers. The food is also affordable. I recommend the sesame udon.

I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable yet delicious the sushi here is. The ingredients are fresh, the portions are just right, and the variety makes it easy to find something for everyone. Service was fast and friendly, and the casual setting makes it perfect for a quick meal without burning a hole in your pocket. Definitely a great spot for tasty, value-for-money sushi—I’ll be coming back again.

Food is fine, nothing to complain about for $2 per plate. Too bad the shop doesn’t support credit card payment.
