Kim Dae Bak is a Muslim-owned Korean restaurant chain that brings halal Korean cuisine to Singapore, with its Sembawang Shopping Centre outlet situated within the FairPrice Finest Kopitiam food hall on the basement level. The brand name itself is a playful nod to the Korean expression 'daebak,' meaning 'awesome' or 'amazing,' and the stall aims to deliver precisely that through its accessible menu of Korean favourites. Signature dishes include the Daewang Ramyun, Korean fried chicken wings and drumettes, and an array of tteokbokki variations — from the classic preparation to rabokki with ramyun, mandu tteokbokki with dumplings, and even a corn dog tteokbokki — offering a broad sampling of Korean street food culture under one roof. Alongside its star items, Kim Dae Bak serves bibimbap, kimchi fried rice, and various bento sets that make for satisfying, budget-friendly meals. The Sembawang outlet offers both dine-in at the food court and takeaway, with delivery also available through foodpanda and other platforms. It is particularly suited to halal-conscious diners craving Korean flavours, families looking for a casual shared meal, and anyone keen to explore Korean street food without travelling to the city centre. For residents of Sembawang and the surrounding north, Kim Dae Bak provides a convenient and affordable gateway to Korean cuisine — all certified halal and served in the heart of the neighbourhood. Whether you are a Korean food enthusiast or simply curious to try something different, this stall brings a taste of Seoul's vibrant street food scene a little closer to home.Operating Hours

Reality and picture is totally off. Not value for money. Upon receiving order, I confirm with the staff if my order was correct, highlighting the pathetic ingredients and missing enoki mushroom. Staff assured that I was given the right order - chkn kimchi. This dish should be full of ingredients.
