I bought the 8-piece raw salmon sushi. This shop has used raw salmon injected with heavily coloured cod when I separated the raw salmon from the rice, the rice was stained with orange dye.

Went for lunch, not crowded, price was affordable, but portion relatively small. Taste ok

A cosy joint offering decent Japanese food for takeaways and a few seats for dine in. Tried the aburi salmon don and kaisen don and the taste was decent, will be more amazing if they can be more generous with the ingredients vs rice ratio.

Went there for lunch and got the minced chicken rice - $6.90 with set A (green tea and chawanmushi - $3) and 2 ebi fry - $4. Don was a 10/10 for me, tatsy meat, well booked rice and the egg was just perfect - cold and runny. Overall a solid meal for its price. Set A was sad, chawanmushi is okay, a great amount of ingredients and was hot and tasty. Tea was just plain. Overall 7/10. Ebi was a 6/10. Came as 2 instead of 3 (on menu) as apparently the size is bigger which is perfectly fine. But the batter was thick and hard and burnt at some parts. It still was tasty nonetheless but wouldn't order again. If in the area, I would recommend u check it out for some affordable Japanese food!

Tasted both ramen and don before. I prefer their Don as the rice tasted better than their ramen and soup. Their Mentai salmon I would said is pretty good compare to their unagi
