Japanese and Korean fried chicken stall at Yishun Mall serving crispy chicken and East Asian favourites.

OMMAS is a Japanese and Korean food stall located within the Kim San Leng coffee shop at Yishun Mall, offering a tantalising menu that spans both cuisines with a focus on Korean-style fried chicken and Japanese bento dishes. The stall brings the bold, crispy goodness of double-fried chicken alongside Japanese rice bowls, making it a versatile choice for diners who enjoy the flavours of East Asia without wanting to commit to just one cuisine. Operating from 10am to 9pm daily, OMMAS serves both dine-in at the coffee shop and takeaway options, appealing to Yishun residents looking for a satisfying meal with the comforting crunch of Korean fried chicken or the umami richness of Japanese preparations at hawker-friendly prices. OMMAS is where Japanese precision meets Korean boldness on a single plate. Visit the Yishun Mall stall and savour the crispy, savoury best of both worlds.

Photos on the menu put me off initially but the actual food served is quite generous in portion and tastes pretty good.

I worked in S.Korea from 2009 to 2015. So I can be a bit snobbish when it comes to fried chicken, spicy ones especially. The original korean BB-Q chicken brand, not the try hard that came and failed years ago is my guilty pleasure there is one under my apartment. I have to say that OMMAS fried chicken got it spot on and I love it the spiciness and the texture of it. I do my best to find good tasting Korean fired chickenin SG and OMMAS also remind me of pre-Covid Jjinja Chicken. Please keep up the good work! Thank you for giving some nostalgic flashbacks.

Tried the Spicy Fried Chicken Rice Bowl, Gfood taste good except that the chicken drumstick meat is a bit hard.
