Halal quick-service Indian stall at Northpoint City, serving freshly flipped prata and hearty curry meals.

Prata Wala is a halal-certified Indian quick-service stall located in the basement of Northpoint City's North Wing, bringing the beloved roti prata tradition to Yishun in a clean, efficient food court setting. The stall specialises in freshly made prata β€” from the classic plain and egg versions to cheese, mushroom, and other creative variations β€” all flipped and cooked to order for that signature crisp exterior and soft, layered interior. Each prata is served with a side of fish or mutton curry, the essential accompaniment that elevates the simple flatbread into a satisfying meal. The menu extends beyond prata to include thosai, naan, and biryani rice sets, catering to diners seeking a more substantial Indian meal. Set meals that combine prata with curry and a drink offer good value, while the stall's quick turnaround makes it ideal for shoppers and office workers on a tight schedule. Both dine-in at the food court and takeaway are available, with delivery through major platforms. For a reliable plate of freshly made prata in the heart of Yishun, Prata Wala at Northpoint City is the straightforward answer. It delivers the comfort of Indian hawker fare with the convenience of a modern mall setting.

Service has improved tremendously! Manager and staff were very polite and helpful. This is a huge improvement from the previous team of staff. I’d rate the service 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I can’t say the same for the food quality. The pratas were average, just soft and there’s zero crisps (not even on the outside). Plaster prata came with a fully cooked egg. Garlic nann was extremely tough as well. Teh was poorly made.

For 2 cup of tea and 4 prata (2 eggs and 2 plain prata)- $15 was on the high side. Even if food inflation and the high rental had been incorporated inside, $15 was really expensive. The saving grace, was the food was good. Nice prata. Including my ginger tea was nice. Surprisingly, though I felt the prices were high, it was very crowded. Seemed the rest of the crowd were comfortable with the pricing.

I visited in lunch time. They don't serve ta doori meals then. I ordered Curry chicken briyani set, Butter chicken prata set and cheese prata. Butter chicken curry had aroma of charcoal roasted. Other curry sauces were all different taste. All of them were yummy. I would try tandoori meals at dinner time.

Reached the store at 9.30am and it was already crowded, about 60% of the seats were taken up. I ordered one egg and one plain prata, food was served in about 20 minutes, waiting times was abit long. Other than that, food was delicious and stall cleanliness was good.
