Michelin-recognised Fujian cuisine famous for 100-Second Yellow Croaker and hand-pounded Bian Rou Soup.

PUTIEN brings the refined flavours of Fujian cuisine to Northpoint City, drawing from the coastal city of Putian where fresh seafood reigns supreme. What began as a humble coffee shop along Kitchener Road in 2000 has grown into an internationally celebrated brand with more than 80 outlets across Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Mainland China. The restaurant's dedication to authenticity has earned it a place in the MICHELIN Guide Singapore for seven consecutive years. Signature dishes include the delicate '100-Second' Stewed Yellow Croaker, boiled to precision to preserve the fish's natural sweetness, and PUTIEN's Bian Rou Soup, where the paper-thin wrapper is pounded over 12,000 times during a three-hour process.

Beyond its celebrated signatures, PUTIEN offers an extensive menu spanning Fujian Red Mushroom Seafood Lor Mee with thirteen nourishing ingredients, PUTIEN Crispy Oysters, Pan-fried Yellow Croaker, and seasonal delicacies that follow nature's calendar—from loquat and lychee to duotou clams and yellow croaker. The Northpoint City outlet welcomes diners for both casual meals and special celebrations, with online reservations available for those planning ahead. Whether you are a curious first-timer or a devoted regular, the warm, family-friendly setting makes it an ideal destination for shared meals.

We visited Putien on X’mas day for a birthday celebration for our dad! Was greeted to the most impeccable services by ALL staff, especially by Zhang Lan who serviced our big family of 6 adults, 3 children. She is so friendly, thoughtful and kind to us. Other than Zhang Lan, the rest of the crew has been the sweetest; from distributing snacks and gifts for the kids, and throwing in food and dessert for us. This maybe why we enjoyed the food and left with a most wonderful dining experience! Thank you Putien!

The food and service here are the best! All the service staff are so polite: 彬彬有礼。 The young and handsome manager Mr Ng (吴先生)himself cut the hairy crab for us and laid it out on a plate neatly. He cut the legs so expertly that the meat would come out with a slight tug! We also ordered Putien sweet and sour pork with lychees, chilled jello worms, drunken cockles, braised bitter gourd, stone pot homemade bean curd, and baked eel dressed in garlic sauce. We had chrysanthemum and wolfberry tea to drink (refillable). Dessert was loquat jelly - delightful and refreshing! My favourite dish? The heng hwa fried bee hoon with its perfect mix of ingredients, of course! Authentic pu tian (莆田)cuisine! (Sorry about the photos: we started eating before thinking to take photos!) Xian Mei and the other service staff were polite and attentive as well.

Food: high 9.5/10 All the food they serve are in great quality. Price is also very worthy. Their table chilli is good, suitable for a lot of dish they serve. Deep fried pork hand, is very crispy and somehow not that oily. Well done Seaweed veg is very unique as I never really try before seaweed as a main vegetable. Not salty and very chewy. Fried yam, I am not a fan of it but I do not know why I keep eating it, is very addictive. Pork burger is great as they blend well. Their PUTIEN cabbage rice is my favourite of them all. The fact that I have ate cabbage rice one day before it. And thought I would regret to order cabbage rice in Putien. End up is no, this rice is on the next level. Corn drink is great too. Service: 10/10. I am very satisfied with their service, all of the service crew are very nice, friendly and hygienic. They always ensure we are served well. Atmosphere: 10/10 A classic chinese restaurant with great vibes.
