Delicious halal peranakan food located at causeway point.
They serve Nasi Padang style food where you choose the dishes.
Was a bit confused when I look at the dishes as there weren’t many options that shouts Peranakan except for Nyonya Chicken Curry. The others were simply your typical Malay dishes.
So were the kuihs, your regular kuih lapis, lopes, dadar and more.
Chicken curry was a bit too spicy for me but other than that, it’s all good!
Missing one star because the place aircon wasn’t strong.

A power shutdown was scheduled today at my HDB block from 10am to 12 noon. My wife and I decided to go in the morning and met at Causeway Point next to Woodlands MRT Station for lunch.
It was around 1:30pm, and we saw that Red Ginger was not crowded. There was also a Curry Fish Head set for 2 pax being promoted. It came with curry fish head served in a claypot, a choice of vegetable and 2 plates of white rice. All at a reasonable price of $24.90 :-)
We ordered and was served the piping hot Curry Fish Head in around 8 minutes. We enjoyed the meal.

The longton gravy was pretty lemak and it also lacked other vegetables but came with a lot of cabbages. The briyani rice was a little too soggy for my liking, I was not sure if it was the gravy that caused it. The deep fried ginger chickens 🐔 were way too hard for anybody. The sambal goreng was too wet and I preferred those that I have eaten elsewhere which was dry. Sambal belachan was not as pedas as I would like it to be, it was too diluted. Hope you guys will improve on it and I will be back to review again. 💪💪💪

My favorite go to place for my Saturday lunch after gym. Their Mee Rebus is one of the best I ever had. Try their Curry Chicken Rice here, you will not regret it.
