Update again after my visit on Feb 2026: second time disappointment with the fish. 沸腾鱼,tasted so plain although it looks spicy. No fragrance at all, and added so much unrelated 配菜, squid, quail eggs, prawn, meat ball, 🌽 etc. it's more like a 乱炖。the food doesn't give me good appetite. The rice is too soft and sticky and they stick on the bowl. Whereas 干煸四季度still ok. But I doubt I'll visit again. Update 24th November 2023. Disappointed after latest visit, their menu changed, no more沸腾鱼,it's now 水煮鱼instead. The taste is not good, no fragrance, only salty, watery, I have tried 水煮鱼before don't think it looks and taste like that. And the sliced fish is processed sliced fish rather than freshly slice in the kitchen last time which is fresh and tender. And 沸腾鱼for me is special and can't get from any other restaurants, hope they can being this dish back. Had lunch here and they are serving authentic Chinese cuisine, chongqing flavours. Tried their grilled brinjal, 串串,沸腾鱼,干煸四季豆,all good but slight over salty. I like the fish because they are not using frozen dory fillet but fresh fish slices I think should be same fish as the grilled fish. Good try overall. Tried their grilled fish, 一品豆腐, tastes good!! Love it. Not spicy until lips swollen, but fragrance of the dried chilies and pepper.

Pretty decent food, amazing array of selection, prompt serving upon ordering and not all at 1 shot so the food doesn't get all cold together. Out of those we ordered, our favourites were the lamb skewers, shishamo and marinated cow innards. Sichuan chewy jelly noodles seemed overcooked (not so chewy) and the grilled leek was too oily and fibrous. 2nd visit on 31Dec21: tried their noodles with braised intestines $8.80++. intestines were so tender! and the soup has a slight herbal taste which I enjoyed too :D 3rd visit on 26Feb22: tried their Green Pepper Grill Fish $42.80++. Beautifully grilled yet the meat was tender. Very fresh. Just right for 4pax to share. I think next time I will ask for very much less salt. We loved the taste but it was really overwhelmingly salty. Goes well with the bean sprouts $3.50 and sweet potato wide vermicelli $3.50 :D Nth visit on 31Jul22: Pea noodle $6.80. The minced meat had a very strong smell that I didn't like. Liang Pi: nice! lightly flavourful. 7Feb25: In recent years the wait time for food has increased. Today we waited more than 40 minutes. This time their staff came to inform us after 25 minutes that it will be quite a wait. That's a good gesture. Food was yummy as before. I'm just thankful there's this place to eat within walking distance that's different. so I guess once in a while when we get bored of other food we'll still come here. Pricing is still reasonable. Note to self: ask for less salt!

My lover & I enjoyed the food Crystal Pork as appetisers must dip into the sauce it tasty, fry Chinese Yam with black fungus are crispy, we gave 4 stars 🌟 hopefully can be improved more on taste balancing, for the Brasted Strip Pork, we tasted salty, the bottle drinks was tasty too Service crews were friendly when approached, able to assist us for the digital menu & knowledgeable for their food items without running in & out to ask the chefs Surroundings feeling like I went to China We will recommend to our people This was our first time in this restaurant
