Food: ordered premium laksa with scallop gratin and seafood. Originally I was hyped to think how it would be like to taste laksa together with a scallop gratin. To my disappointment, it was just 2 large shell scallops, with no gratin in sight. Would suggest they remove the word gratin as it’s misleading. Next onto the taste, the laksa gravy was awesome, definitely top tier, as was their sweet chilli which I felt was the perfect blend for a laksa. However, the way the dish was executed was a failure. The noodles were overcooked to a point where it was mushy, my chopsticks were breaking them just by picking them up. Secondly, the scallops were well overcooked too. For a price point like this and in a restaurant like setting I would expect them to at least not serve me overcooked scallops. FYI the prawns weren’t even de-shelled and I had to pick them up from a gravy laden bowl. That being said I really loved the gravy but due to some significant oversights it’s just a 3/5 for me. Service: practically no service, you walk up to order, sit down while they prepare your food, walk up to take your food again, and help them to return their tray. Seems fair I guess since they do not charge service charge. 3/5 Atmosphere: Was quite chill, felt relaxed but not perfect. 4/5 Will come back as I wanna try the other dishes they have when I’m in the area and I hope the execution of the dishes improve then.

A self service joint, with both seating aircon or outdoor. Ordered the sampler platter. Quite substantial, albeit not enough rice to go down with the variety of sauce/gravy. All sampler was decent except personally I'm not a fan of pork trotter vinegar. Very likely to return to try out other offerings

Very nice and authentic nyonya food. Great variety of dishes including stewed dishes, fragrant nasi lemak and classics like mee siam and laksa. Those that want a taste of everything can get their platters. Price were very affordable too, less than $20 per pax including drinks and dessert. Did I mention their desserts were amazing too? Putting coconut ice-cream into classics like chendol and pulut hitam is a match made in heaven. Couldn't resist dabao-ing their freshly made kuehs and those were amazing too - not too sweet and very soft and chewy. Will be a regular for sure!!

It was still quite crowded at 1245pm. Luckily, we found a seat in 5 mins. We need to go to the counter to order and was given a pager to collect the food when it rings. I ordered the Local Trio Sampling Set which cost me $15.80. I love the laksa, the gravy is flavourful with thick gravy. It came with baby abalone as well. The mee xiam is not bad too just a bit oily for me. You can see a layer of oil floating. Personally I don't really like the nasi lemak as I find it doesn't go very well with achar or rather it's too overwhelming that I can't taste of the coconut rice. I tried their Kueh Dada and find its really yummy. Overall experience is still good with the Peranakan-themed decorations.

Nice deco with softly played songs from Taiwanese Diva Teresa Teng makes the whole dining experience really pleasant. The food served was not warm BUT beef rendang and chicken curry are not too spicy or peppery, just flavorful. The gravy from both dishes are rich and thick. Maybe it is due to the type of vinegar they used, the black vinegar pork trotter was just plain sour and taste rather "dilute".
