Japanese tonkatsu specialist at Causeway Point B1 serving crispy breaded pork cutlets with curated sets.
Tonkatsu ENbiton is a Japanese tonkatsu specialist chain with an outlet at Causeway Point Basement 1, unit 19, dedicated to serving perfectly crispy, golden-brown breaded pork cutlets with curated set meals. The brand focuses on the art of tonkatsu — using quality pork, a light and crispy panko breadcrumb coating, and deep-frying at precise temperatures to achieve the signature crunch on the outside and juiciness on the inside that defines great tonkatsu. The menu offers a range of tonkatsu cuts from the lean hire (fillet) to the richer rosu (loin), each served as a set with shredded cabbage, miso soup, rice and pickles, with the option to upgrade to premium Kurobuta pork for a more indulgent experience. Side dishes include ebi fry (fried prawns), oyster katsu and a la carte additions, and the Causeway Point outlet provides a comfortable, no-frills dining space where the focus is squarely on the quality of the cutlet. For tonkatsu that gets the crunch and the juiciness right, ENbiton at Causeway Point is the cut above. Order a set, pour the sauce and savour every crispy, juicy bite.

This set “Classic Rosu Katsu” costs $12.38 at current promotional price, excluding GST. It’s really very filling and quite a big amount together with the bowl of rice. Felt satisfied! 👍 I love the blending of the sesame seeds, it’s the same in Japan too! Will be going back to try other dishes too!

The price is reasonable. Free flow rice, soup and cabbage. Recommended the assorted tonkatsu which have salmon, hokkaido pork, prawn

came here on friday evening to have dinner with my friend as I was craving for tonkatsu and heard that this place serves it well. they were not wrong indeed! the pork katsu was super tender and juicy with the crispy outer skin which was really similar to the one I had in Japan. service was also pretty good considering we didnt had to wait to be seated and our food came minutes after placing order. only downside is the price as we paid a total of $64 for two tonkatsu set dish

Ordered the Rosu Katsu set and fried oysters. The oysters were tasty, though slightly on the salty side. The pork was nicely crunchy but a bit too fatty for my preference. Cabbage was a little coarse.

Tonkatsu Meal
A hand is drizzling sauce onto a plate of tonkatsu, which is served with shredded cabbage, a lemon wedge, and a dollop of mustard. A bowl of rice, a bowl of miso soup, and a small dish of pickles are also on the wooden table. A small dish of dipping sauce with sesame seeds is to the right of the tonkatsu. Chopsticks rest on a decorative chopstick holder.
