WOK HEY is a modern, fast-casual concept that puts the power of customisation in the diner's hands, offering build-your-own bowls and noodle boxes tossed in a wok with Asian-inspired sauces and fresh ingredients. The Sun Plaza outlet in Sembawang follows the brand's popular format: pick a base of rice or noodles, choose from proteins like chicken, beef, shrimp, or tofu, load up on vegetables, and top it all with one of the signature sauces — from the garlicky soy to the fiery sambal and the tangy sweet chilli. Each bowl is cooked fresh to order, ensuring the wok hei and vibrant flavours that define the WOK HEY experience. The menu also offers curated signature bowls for those who prefer not to build from scratch, alongside sides like gyoza, edamame, and drinks. Dine-in and takeaway are both available, and the efficient preparation process means bowls are ready quickly even during busy periods. With options catering to various dietary preferences including vegetarian and lower-calorie choices, WOK HEY is suitable for health-conscious diners, students, and anyone who wants a satisfying, customisable Asian meal. Date/Time: 4th August, 7:21PM Subject: Complaint Regarding Service Delay and Poor Experience Dear Wok Hey, I’m writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received on 4th August at around 7:21PM. When I placed my order through your website, it indicated a 10-minute wait time. However, upon arriving at the outlet, I was informed that I would need to wait an additional 30 minutes. What made the situation worse was the lack of urgency from the staff. Despite a queue forming, the team appeared to be working slowly and without concern for the delay or the customers waiting. This experience was frustrating and disappointing, especially given the misleading information on your platform. I hope Wok Hey takes this feedback seriously and addresses the gap between online wait times and actual service delivery, as well as staff efficiency.

My entire family simply loves the menu offerings by this outlet here newly established at basement of Sun Plaza. They have wide variety of options of fried rice, ramen, Udon for patrons to choose from. We have ordered a couple of times for delivery and the food deliverd is still hot and delicious without effecting the flavour. They also have healthier choice of brown rice for this looking to have a healthier and balanced meal. Have also tried their take away option orders from one of the delivery platform. Recommended for anyone who loves fried rice otr ramen.

Ordered Crab Udon but received plain Udon with eggs. Contacted customer service and was granted a refund within 3 working days. Would suggest a staff to manage the ingredients instead of relying on the chef.

Tried their Raya Special Satay Chicken Fried Rice. It has fragrant Turmeric rice, tender Satay Chicken, flavourful Satay Sauce, crunchy Cucumber and Red Onion. Each bite is a fusion of local flavors perfectly blended with their signature fried rice. Can't get enough of that Satay Sauce, would love to have more of it! Will be back for more!!
