I ordered a 2 piece chicken meal NON SPICY take away but they gave me BOTH SPICY,there was no receipt provided as the machine ran out of paper.

Got the salmon set, doesn't feel quite worth it to me. Taste is rather mid as its all fried, not filling as well given that I paid 10+ for this. There are better options around

When my order was ready I politely asked the staff for extra crumbs. The Malay staff (wearing black polo uniform, a tudung and bespectacled) told me off immediately, “You never tell us how we know?” I was bewildered and asked if there was an option to indicate I wanted more crumbs at the self ordering machine. She said no. I asked her how then was I supposed to tell them I wanted extra crumbs before my order arrived. She said I should have told them after I ordered. 😖. To which I asked her “How?”. She replied saying I should have brought my receipt there after it was printed. There was absolutely no notices there requesting customers who wanted extra crumbs to do so over the counter before their food arrives. Her initial comment was just plain rude. She did not apologise for being rude.

If I had check the reviews Before Stepping in I would have just avoided at all cost! Been ages since I eaten at LJS and guess it will be my last! Ordered the breakfast sandwich meal which is the only item I like in their entire menu. But the sandwich which had egg was filled with eggshells!!!! I am not talking about a small portion which I am ok to remove and continue but there is a crunch with every single bite as if the entire egg was cook with its shells on! Obviously the shells was probably drop into the egg bater but just simply no enthusiasm to remove it. A brand new set was changed but just spoilt the entire experience.

Would give 0stars if I could. Ordered 2× 2pc dory fish set, 1× spicy 1pc chicken 1pc pollock fish set, 1 clam chowder and 1 crazy potatoes. List that contributed to the negative review(supporting media attached): 1) Food was all cold and soggy, everything. From the fish to the fries and the chicken. Exception was the soup which was warm. 2) Fanta grape extremely watered down - in my brother's words, "it tastes more watered down than the drinks they serve in cookhouse" iykyk 3) not sure why but the potato slices in the crazy potatoes tasted stale, may be the storage or the oil but it tastes like 2-3 days old (definitely not a me issue cause even my siblings agreed and they eat junk as a lifestyle) 4) LJS is known for their batter bits but the one in this branch smears dirt on its name.. cooking was not up to par and only 1 tablespoon of batter was given. 5) spicy chicken was only half the size of my palm (see pic), how you expect a full grown guy to be satisfied with this meal, I have no idea... All in all, the LJS branch that was here a couple years ago was 10x better than whatever is standing here now. Best buy: Dasani drinking water P.s. the food does not look as good in the pics irl, I just have an OP camera phone

Tucked behind the Causeway Point, it is less crowded. The establishment is cleaner than the other North outlet. There was an assistant who would clean after diners left but he is no longer around. He was a great helper. LJS food in other outlets can be a hit & miss but so far this one is consistent. The porridge shown below has a good portion of salmon and fulfilling. It is not salty and palatable. I like the ambience and service is quite decent. At least one service staff responded when I greeted good morning the other day. F&B establishments are not easy to manage. So I could accept some pitfalls and give credit when credit is due.

The food here are not up to the standard of other outlets. Have been a big fan of LJS but the food here doesn't make me crave it. Bought a few times but have never met my expectations. The malay service crew is very unfriendly and rolled her eyes at us when we asked for more crumbs.

The portion is pathetic. Minus the 2 pieces of meat. The fries provided were pathetic and barely filled. A vast difference from before. Service? Non existent. Ever since they started hiring younger individuals, the service provided was just lacking. No greetings, no thank you. Just a side stare when you collect your food.

Cant remember what I ordered but the price was $8.90. food was great but it didnt come with tartar sauce, not sure if the staff has forgotten or it did not come with it. Other than that, one of the best and fastest fish and chips out there

I always like their grilled chilli crab sauce with Dory Fish. Need to wait a while as the grilled fish takes 5 to 8 mins to prepare. Overall nice. This outlet is not so crowded like other outlet
