NParks opened the October 2026 allotment ballot on 20 October at 2pm. It closes 2 November 2026 at 11.59pm. That is a Monday night. Four of the 13 parks in this exercise sit in the North: Lower Seletar Reservoir Park with 34 plots, Sembawang Park with 12, Bukit Canberra with 10, and Yishun Neighbourhood Park with 8. Chinese names on the ground are 实里达蓄水池下段公园, 三巴旺公园, 武吉坎贝拉, and 义顺邻里公园. Woodlands Waterfront Park has allotment beds in the wider scheme. It is not on this 13-site list.
The 19 October 2026 NParks release is the primary source. GardeningSG, last updated the same day, repeats the plot table and the rules. More than 500 plots are up. HortPark leads the island with 91. The North slice is 64 beds if you add the four parks. Each household may ballot for one plot. Successful gardeners get a 2.5 m by 1 m raised bed with soil and a mini storage box. The 2026 rate is $65.40 a year including GST, for a Temporary Occupancy Licence of up to three years.
Apply on AXS: e-Station at e-station2.axs.com.sg, the m-Station app, or an AXS kiosk. Singpass logs you in. No Singpass means a kiosk. AXS customer service is 6560 2727, 8.30am to 6pm daily, for the mechanics of the form. NParks will not take a second channel. One application per household. Extra forms from the same household do not raise the odds. Plots are assigned by computerised ballot. You pick the park, not the exact bed. Waist-height and knee-height beds are mixed in the draw.
Singaporeans and permanent residents get priority. Foreigners can still apply. Minimum age is 18 on the day you submit. A Letter of Offer comes by email from AXS within one month of close, so around early December 2026 if the timetable holds. Pay on AXS by the deadline in that letter. Miss it and the plot goes. Unsuccessful applicants get an email about three months after close, around February 2027. Check junk folders. There is no waitlist. The next island-wide exercise is listed for the second quarter of 2027.
Most TOLs in this round start in the second quarter of 2027. You are not planting next week. You are booking a 2027 bed. Lower Seletar's lawn has been closed since 1 July 2026 for Phase 1 works through 1 April 2027. Heritage Bridge and PA Water-Venture still run. The 34 plots are still on the ballot. Treat the lawn closure as a picnic problem, not a reason the beds vanished from the table. Sembawang Park is a different worksite. The fishing jetty is only partly open from 5 to 29 October 2026. The lawn is under construction from 9 September 2026 to 30 June 2027. NEA still advises against swimming at Sembawang Beach. The 12 plots remain listed. Walk the sand. Stay out of the water. Bukit Canberra's 10 plots sit by the sports hub and the hawker centre at 21 Canberra Link, not inside Canberra Plaza. Yishun Neighbourhood Park is not Yishun Park. Do not mix the two names on the form.
Rules on the GardeningSG FAQ are blunt. Plants and structures stay at or under 1 m standing height, measured from the top of the bed. No thorny, poisonous, or illegal plants. No chemical pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides. Shared water points exist. No electricity. No fencing and no private CCTV. You maintain the plot, including mosquito control. NParks will not mow it for you and will not pay an NEA summons. Assigning upkeep to someone else is not allowed. The TOL, once paid, is not refundable if you quit early.
If you live in 义顺 or 三巴旺 and you want a bed you can actually reach after work, the North four are the useful rows. HortPark and Punggol Waterway will soak most of the island demand. That is why the 8 plots at Yishun Neighbourhood Park will go quickly. Apply before 2 November 2026, 11.59pm, then wait for the email.
