Curiosity Cove at Mandai Wildlife EAST is running its first Halloween programme, The Mischief Within, from 1 October to 1 November 2026. The indoor playscape is the North's actual leftover if you want something dated that is not another mall atrium. Daytime is carnival games inside a ticket you already bought. Nights are a separate trail, and those dates are finite.
Mandai Wildlife Group announced the programme with Ranger Buddies on 18 September. Time Out, HoneyKids, BYKidO and 8world all repeated the same split: Boo-tiful Day every day from 10am to 5.30pm, Sundown on selected Friday-to-Sunday evenings from 6.30pm to 9.30pm, last entry 8.30pm. Trust Mandai's date list over a roundup if they diverge.
Boo-tiful Day sits inside Curiosity Cove admission. Kids knock down a pumpkin wall in three tries, or pair up to blast ten pumpkin targets. Completing tasks stamps a Quest Card. Two stamps get a badge. Candy bags are $6 if you want to chase the roving crew for top-ups. Neon glow paintings and glow night lamps are $6 each, or three crafts for $15. Under-threes still enter free with a paying child, same as a normal play day.
A resident weekday ticket is listed as $43 for one child plus one supervising adult, now sold as full-day access from 10am to 5.30pm. Peak days (weekends, public holidays, school holidays) are $45 for the 2-hour window or $64 for full-day unlimited access to 6.30pm, last entry 5.30pm. Non-residents pay $48 weekday / $68 weekend full-day on Mandai's single-attraction page. One adult can accompany up to two children. Extra child, extra adult and senior add-ons sit on that same page. Grip socks are required. Buy them on site if you did not bring a pair.
Sundown is the part that sells out first. Mandai prices one adult plus one child at $50 on Saturdays and $40 on Fridays and Sundays. Extra adult $15. Extra child $25. If you already have a day ticket, Mandai sells a $25 same-day extension into Sundown. Friends of Mandai rates exist. Book them on the official event page, not a reseller.
Remaining Sundown nights after 11 October are 16 to 18 October, 23 to 25 October, 30 and 31 October, and 1 November. The 2 to 3 October and 9 to 10 October slots are gone. Thirteen nights were listed in total. The trail has four challenges: a hoverball rally, counting glowing eyes, a reef-creature jigsaw at Reef Retreat, and a maze that ends in a code. Mandai then runs a bubble set by CJ Bubbles and a victory parade. Best Dressed awards go to one child and one family each night. Come in costume if you want that, not because the door staff will turn you away without one.
This is not Night Safari. Night Safari is next door and still a separate ticket. Curiosity Cove is the 4,600 sq m indoor playscape on Mandai Wildlife EAST. Address is 80 Mandai Lake Road, 729826. Khatib MRT (NS14) is the useful station. Mandai Khatib Shuttle (MKS) drops at Mandai Wildlife EAST. Mandai City Express also runs. Driving fills the EAST carparks on weekend nights. Mandai has already asked visitors to use public transport on some October Sundays, including 11 October, so treat shuttle as the default on remaining Sundown Saturdays.
Eat after at Kampung Admiralty hawker if you are heading back toward Woodlands, or at the Mandai food courts if the kids are done. Do not plan a hot-spring soak the same evening. Sembawang Hot Spring Park closes at 7pm, and the foot-bath still shuts Monday and Thursday 11am to 2pm. The Halloween leftover in the North this month is this indoor trail, HomeTeamNS Khatib's Last Class on 31 October and 1 November, or SAFRA Yishun's Deepavali exhibition from 26 to 28 October and 6 to 10 November. Causeway Point's glow escape room is a mall spend-and-redeem. Skip it if you came north for the parks.
Book Sundown on Mandai's Curiosity Cove event page. Day carnival needs a dated Curiosity Cove ticket. No papal visit is involved. If the 1 November last night is sold, the daytime games still run that day until 5.30pm.
